About Aastha
aastha is a passionate brand and business builder. she has experience of more than a decade across marketing, product and growth in a variety of industries viz. FMCG, pharma and D2C eyewear. her exposure also spans the offline and online worlds in managerial, leadership and entrepreneurial roles.
prior to building sy'a, she has grown and continues to grow Vedic Teas, one of Canada's most loved premium tea brands, in UAE. through her role at Eyewa, a D2C eyewear startup in the MENA region, she got exposure to KSA, UAE and other key GCC markets. she has also worked with some of the top pharma brands in India viz. Tata 1mg, Mankind Pharma and mChemist.
she has an MBA from Hult Business School where she was part of the dean's list. she also has a masters in technology (biotech) with a gold medal and a bachelors in technology (biotech) where she was in top 5 ranks. outside of work, she splits her time between tasting teas, building networks esp. with other women entrepreneurs and her family.
