Premium Chinese Tea - Traditional Loose Leaf Tea, Organic & Authentic

sy'a's Chinese tea collection brings traditional Chinese tea to Dubai, starting with our Longjing (Dragon Well) green tea from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, one of China's most storied tea-growing regions. If you're looking to buy Chinese tea online, this is loose-leaf tea grown, picked, and processed in the tradition it comes from, not a generic blend given a Chinese name.

Longjing: A Classic of Traditional Chinese Tea

Longjing, also known as Dragon Well, is a pan-fired green tea grown in Longjing Village, Hangzhou. It's one of the most recognised styles of traditional Chinese tea, known for its flat, hand-pressed leaves, gentle chestnut-like flavour, and pale golden liquor.

Our Longjing is:

• Grown in Zhejiang Province, its traditional growing region
• 100% organic and chemical-free
• A single-origin, whole leaf tea, not a blend or filler

This is currently the tea in our premium Chinese tea range, and we've chosen to lead with a well-made single-origin tea rather than stretch the collection thin with lower-quality additions.

Why Choose Chinese Loose Leaf Tea

China has one of the oldest tea cultures in the world, and traditional processing methods hand-picking, pan-firing, and careful drying are part of what gives Chinese loose leaf tea its character. Buying loose leaf over pre-bagged tea also means:

• Whole leaves that unfurl fully, releasing more aroma and flavour
• No dust or fannings, which is what many lower-grade tea bags contain
• A tea that can often be re-steeped, giving more value per batch

For Longjing specifically, the loose leaf format matters; its flat, delicate leaves are part of what makes it recognisable, and part of how you know you're getting the real thing.

Organic Chinese Tea, Verified

Our Longjing is 100% organic and chemical-free, grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. If organic Chinese tea matters to you, this is a straightforward way to bring an authentic, responsibly grown option into your routine, whether you're a longtime green tea drinker or trying traditional Chinese tea for the first time.

Bringing Premium Chinese Tea Into Your Routine

Longjing is typically brewed with water just off the boil (not fully boiling, which can scorch the delicate leaves) and a short steep of two to three minutes. Its light, slightly sweet profile makes it a good fit for mornings or any time you want something gentler than a stronger black tea.

At sy'a, premium Chinese tea sits alongside our wider range of loose leaf teas, so if you're building out a collection or exploring different origins, Longjing is a considered place to start.

Why Choose sy'a for Chinese Tea Online
