ingredients:- filtered water: to ensure the purest flavor.
- crimson paradise tea: a symphony of delicate and unique flavours.
- sweetener: choose your preferred sweetener to balance the tartness of hibiscus; whether it is classic cane sugar, Greek honey, or agave nectar.
- limes: for a burst of freshness, use lime juice and wheels.
- fresh mint sprigs: a refreshing garnish that adds beauty to your drink.
- steep the tea and sweetener
- in a medium saucepan, bring 6 cups of filtered water to a boil.
- stir in ¾ cup of our exclusive crimson paradise tea and add ¼ to ½ of your chosen sweetener.
- boil for 3 minutes over high heat, then turn off the heat.
- cover the pan and let the hibiscus steep for 20 to 30 minutes.
- strain
- set a fine-mesh strainer over a heat-safe glass pitcher or bowl.
- pour the steeped tea through the strainer to remove tea leaves.
- discard the crimson paradise tea substrate.
- add lime juice
- stir in the juice of limes for a fresh and bright flavor.
- adjust to taste
- allow the tea to cool completely, then taste.
- if the flavor is too concentrated or bitter, dilute it with additional filtered water and sweetener. Be cautious not to dilute too much, especially if serving over ice.
- chill and serve
- transfer the tea to the fridge and let it chill for a few hours.
- store the chilled tea, covered, in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- when ready to serve, ladle over ice-filled glasses.
